Messika jewelry, favourite jewelry of the stars
Contemporary, striking, luxurious and elegant, and oh so red carpet worthy. Messika, the luxury jewelry brand founded in 2005 by Valérie Messika, has conquered a position of its own among the world’s strongest jewelry brands. Not only within the haute joaillerie, the brand is also the darling of many VIPs. French actress Juliette Binoche wore Messika jewelry at the Oscars. Beyoncé has worn Messika during performances and on the red carpet, and supermodel Gigi Hadid is also a well-known fan of Messika jewelry. Just like Kendall Jenner, one of the famous Kardashian-Jenner sisters.
Famous Messika fans
Naomi Campbell was spotted wearing Messika jewellery during the 2023 Paris Fashion Week. She wore a Move Cravate necklace, Diamond Catcher high jewelry earrings and a ring that she combined with the My Twin Trio ring. Selena Gomez looked radiant with Messika jewels at the “Inaugural Rare Impact Fund Benefit” held in Los Angeles last October. The singer and beauty entrepreneur chose the Kandake high jewelry earrings, the Magnetic Love ring and the Glam’Azone double ring, to complete her silvery look.
Not only famous ladies love the brand. American R’n’B star Usher, who gave 8 concerts in Paris between September 25 and October 5, wore the Messika So Move 3-row necklace and So Move pavé necklace, which were also on display in the French capital during the Messika High Jewelry Show on September 28.
High performance at the Messika High Jewelry Show
Of course, Messika is also the big star at her own parties. As on September 28, 2023. Messika celebrated her 10th birthday that night with a dazzling jewellery and fashion show at the Pavillon Cambon in Paris. During the show dedicated to the 70s, the new High Jewelry collection Midnight Sun was presented.
Nightly parties from the 70s, in which ‘disco’ set the tone, were the inspiration for Valérie Messika to design this High Jewelry Midnight Sun collection. Many VIPs were attracted to a party back in time. Among others, Cher, Nicola Coughlan, Kelly Rowland, Ed Westwick, Sara Sampaio and Taraji P. Henson were featured on the front row.
A parade of 140 creations
Messika showed 140 new pieces of jewelry during a 30-presentation runway show showcased by top models such as Taylor Hill, Grace Elisabeth, Alton Mason and Adut Akech. Star of the evening – apart from Messika itself, all VIPs and host Ashley Graham – was the Solar Diva set that incorporates a radiant, intense yellow diamond of almost 35 carats. This yellow diamond is one of the largest stones ever used in a Messika piece of jewelry. The catwalk looks, which reflect the atmosphere of the Midnight Sun collection, were designed by designer Nix Lecourt Mansion. Some exclusive catwalk looks, including those with the yellow diamond, were created in collaboration with Valérie Messika herself.

Contemporary, striking, luxurious and elegant
Messika made a statement right from the start with the Move collection, in which diamonds move freely within the jewelry. Allowing diamonds to move freely in the designs has become a characteristic and recognizable element of the brand. Traditional craftsmanship is combined with a contemporary, striking aesthetic. This makes Messika not only the favourite brand of the stars, but of everyone who wants to wear exceptionality within the world of luxury and elegant jewelry.
Valérie Messika makes rock ‘n’ roll objects
Artistic director Valérie Messika was literally born among diamonds as the daughter of a diamond merchant. Driven by the desire to make diamond jewelry of unwavering beauty, Valérie Messika founded her own jewelry company in 2005. She says: “I was eager to work with diamonds, just like my father. But not in the usual way. A diamond is the ability to express one’s own personality. That’s why a diamond should be big, innovative, cool and easy to wear. This philosophy is reflected in many of my creations. The diamond thus becomes a rock ‘n’ roll object that suits women of all ages.”
Messika Move Collection
Her signature design is the Move-Classic collection that was first presented in 2007. The first piece from the collection was the Move bracelet, in which three diamonds can move freely in a gold, rectangular frame. The bracelet has now become a timeless classic, and the Move collection itself turned out to be the beginning of an on-going success story.
Valérie Messika’s jewelry inspires women to be who they really are: radiant, free, sensual, strong and sparkling. Messika jewels are diamond jewels for the modern woman, who confidently considers her diamonds as her daily companion, but also as a reminder of the most special moments of her life.
